around them and is extremely costly to an employer in terms of absenteeism,
insurance costs and productivity.

prohibited on the premises of the Diocese of South Dakota.
4.
All employees of The Diocese of South Dakota and visitors are expected
to comply with the smoking regulations.
5.
Procedure:
- Non-compliant
visitors shall be asked to extinguish their smoking material with an
informal reminder of the No Smoking Policy.
- Employees
found smoking on the premises in restricted areas will receive a verbal
warning. Upon second violation, they will receive a written warning. Third
violation constitutes grounds for suspension or termination of employment.
